The word "calligraphy" is formed by the Greek words graphein (to write) and kallos (beautiful). But the calligraphy is more than the Art of Writing in a Beautiful Way. Calligraphy is a full social attitude towards Writing. The Calligrapher succeeds at creating a perfect harmony between the tools he uses, the text, the script and above all, his own cultural heritage. Among the great civilizations that have produced authentic calligraphy is the western culture, whose writing is based on the Roman Alphabet.
